Position Description:
Develop and enhance the Ford Credit IT4IT applications: AMS, Ford Credit Global Data Dictionary, Database Change Control, and CSF Manager. The position involves business analysis and development with a focus on J2EE application development, testing and support. This role will drive IT4IT application design and development. As a technical ole, you will be responsible to understand IT as a business domain requirements and objectives. The IT4IT Java Developer will be able to help drive IT4IT''s strategic technology direction and articulate the value at all levels within the organization. The Java Developer will collaborates to define, design and deliver solutions to IT4IT projects that align to Ford Credit framework, patterns and standards. The A IT4IT Tools Specialist will work to deliver value for IT customers and users in a consistent, reliable and repeatable manner of one or more services/technologies in the application space aligned with the ITSM framework.
Skills Required:
5+ years of experience with J2EE, including Java, HTML, JavaScript, XML, server side Java-based development, and object oriented design methodology. 5+ years of experience with J2EE coding and writing/executing SQL in Oracle or equivalent DBMS. Experience with Java-based IDE (Eclipse Familiarity with AccuRev, or another code management product . Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Strong ability to multi-task effectively.
Skills Preferred:
Knowledge of core Java patterns, SOA design principles and design patterns. Experience in application design, implementing design patterns and performance tuning. Demonstrated understanding of performance tuning multi-tiered java applications. Experience with Iterative software development practices, agile practices, successful teamwork and production deployments
Experience Required:
5+ years overall IT experience, including: J2EE / Java, WebLogic and SQL o J2EE / Java development experience using Eclipse or similar tooling Object Oriented Analysis and Design o Experience with JSF and JPA o Experience using Eclipse tooling
Experience Preferred:
Excellent interpersonal skills in handling internal and external team and external and business customers. Effective verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work closely with application developers to ensure business goals succeed.
Education Required:
Bachelor''s degree or equivalent qualification in computer science or related discipline.
