Sourcing Supervisor – Team Lead - Phoenix, AZ

Job description
Identifies and implements best practices and process improvement opportunities
Identifies opportunities for savings
Ensures SLAs are met
Manages quality-related activities
Acts as a second level support for any process related queries
Conducts periodic individual performance reviews
Manages the Req to Pay process and provides guidance on issues to buyers and agents
Supports users on uploading of PR’s on SAP
Conducts Spot Buys
Validates rejections made by Agents
Supports second level escalations
Handles escalated vendor issues and resolves any conflicts
Escalates issues of non-cooperative suppliers
Advises procedures for special cases / instructions from client
Handles sourcing for direct spend- need identification, RFx Management, Strategy Creation, Negotiation and Final Decision on contract award up to a defined threshold

Qualification
College graduate
Has 6-8 years of work experience
Has prior experience in leading sourcing teams and managing indirect categories
Hands on experience in handling P2P activities like spot buys, sourcing projects for direct and indirect Materials
Understands supplier contracts- structures and contractual clauses; legal and regulatory requirements
Drafts contracts, if necessary
Understands supply chain nuances
Has good client facing and management skills
Has good people management skills
Hands on experience on e-sourcing tools/ platform an advantage
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
