Job Description :
Software Engineer/Java with AWS, Node JS, Python/Remote position
Remote but must reside in the Sacramento region.
Duration: 12+ months contact for a Software Engineer
*Note*: They are using Java, Node JS, Python, AWS for the infrastructure on this project.
Required:
Must have Recommender (machine learning) experience
They need to be able to build REST services
AWS experience
They need to understand how a client or other services will communicate with their service
They need to be able to articulate how they secure a REST Service
They need to know MVC and REST services using Spring Boot
They need to build services that can talk with Data Services. They have an MDM strategy.
For the front end they are using Angular JS (not as important for all positions)
Other parts of their environment that are good to know are IntelliJ (editor), Jenkins, Mavin, JIRA, Jasper (for Reports), OAuth (security), Confluence
They will ask questions like how do you secure your REST service?
If they know Groovy this is a plus.
