Job Description :
The Sr. Storage and Backup engineer must be able to manage storage and backup services from the planning phase through the implementation and management phases. He or she will interface with other team members, management, and end-users on a regular basis. After hours availability is required in order to respond to emergencies, and to perform system maintenance that cannot be completed during normal business hours.

Qualifications:
BA/BS in CS, MIS or equivalent experience
Minimum of five years'' experience installing, configuring, administration and managing:
o Storage: EMC (Unisphere, Unity, VNX, and Data Domain)
o Backup: EMC Avamar / IDPA, BackupExec
o Replication: EMC Mirrorview and RecoverPoint
Deep understanding of storage, backup and recovery best practices
Good technical knowledge of VMware and other virtualization technologies
A self-motivated individual who has the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Ability to handle multiple tasks while prioritizing and delivering results on time.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
Must have strong analytical skills
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Experience with the following is also a Plus:
Netapp storage
Microsoft / VMware certifications
SolarWinds experience
