Job Description :
We have a contract-to-hire opportunity available in Columbus, Ohio for a Senior Salesforce Developer who will contribute to development efforts across the range of Salesforce business priorities, including daily production support and maintenance, routine enhancements, solution investigations, and project-level initiatives.
Essential Job Duties:
Ensure preparation and utilization of consistent guidelines and practices for Salesforce development, source code management/deployment, production incident management, backup/recovery, sandbox seeding, and security infrastructure
Analyze, design, and develop robust and timely technical solutions that deliver value-add business capabilities and solve complex business problems, based on collaborative and iterative business specifications
Provide Salesforce technical leadership in contributing to and aligning with the overarching Business Technology architecture strategy and associated data model (encompassing Oracle Eloqua, SAP ECC, SAP BW, etc
Orchestrate, build, and support batch and real-time integration across the application platforms, including Salesforce in/outbound data flows
Participate in design and code reviews, as well as quality assurance efforts, with focus on development best practices and quality of deliverables
Embrace and help to continuously improve agile practices, data governance, quality assurance, development toolsets, etc. in order to enhance team effectiveness and associated scalability
Maintain and share knowledge of Salesforce and other technology industry trends with business and technical colleagues
Job Requirements:
Strong technical background including 5+ years in software development with OO analysis/design; involvement with end-to-end implementation and support of efficient, reliable, and extendable software solutions
3+ years of Salesforce Classic and Lightning development experience utilizing Apex, Triggers, Visualforce, Flows, Process Builder, Lightning App Builder, Web Services, REST, SOAP, Migration Tools, and Data Integration Tools (e.g., Dell Boomi)
CPQ software implementation experience on the Salesforce platform desired
Demonstrated ability in investigating and quickly learning new technologies
Strong problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience in Information Technology field
