Job Description :
Senior PL/SQL Java Developer
Location: Kansas City , Kansas
Duration: 6-12 Months
Need someone with java and PL/SQL of 4-5 years total. Must be effective communicators and a graduate of a good university.


REQUIREMENTS:
Experience
o Required - 3 years of hands-on experience writing advanced Oracle PL/SQL on large Oracle databases. Highly competent working with large data transfers and experience with parallels. Proven experience writing and maintaining complex Oracle SQL, PL/SQL functions, and Oracle packages.
o Preferred - 6 years of hands-on experience writing Java and maintaining Java code

Education
o Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

§ Knowledge
o Strong technical knowledge, with hands-on development experience leveraging solid software development techniques
o Working knowledge in technical leadership of development remote teams
o Current knowledge in systems development of computing architectures and environments; knowledge or relevant technology, tools, and middleware is critical.
o Strong in both breadth and depth of experience with multiple programming languages and development techniques.
o Capable of complex project work while balancing application support responsibilities.
o Strong ability to accurately estimate project development activities.

Technical/Skills

o Critical Required - SQL development ( Oracle is the data base environment)
o Required -Object Oriented Modeling
o Required -Application Architecture and solutioning. Highly adept at identifying existing application/performance bottlenecks and designing better solutions
o Preferred -Streaming or Batch processing/mediation/ETL
o Preferred - Java/J2EE

o Additional Required-

· Must be Senior level and good communicator
· Proven ability to delegate work and work in a team
· Code Review experience with strong working knowledge of methodologies
· Strong Written skills and proven ability to document code, requirements, architecture
· Highly motivated
