Job Summary
Responsible for designing, organizing, modifying, installing, and supporting a company''s computer systems. Designs and installs LANs, WANs, Internet and intranet systems, and network segments. JD Edwards EnterpriseOne environment experience preferred.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
Install and support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems.
Install and maintain network hardware and software.
Analyze and isolate issues.
Monitor networks to ensure security and availability to specific users.
Evaluate and modify system''s performance.
Identify user needs.
Determine network and system requirements.
Maintain integrity of the network, server deployment, and security.
Ensure network connectivity throughout a company''s LAN/WAN infrastructure is on par with technical considerations.
Design and deploy networks.
Perform network address assignment.
Assign routing protocols and routing table configuration.
Assign configuration of authentication and authorization of directory services.
Maintain network facilities in individual machines, such as drivers and settings of personal computers as well as printers.
Maintain network servers such as file servers, VPN gateways, intrusion detection systems. Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, personal digital assistants, smartphones, software deployment, security updates and patches.
Skills and Educational Requirements

Must be able to work in a fast paced, high volume environment, and have a strong attention to detail. Must be a proactive “self-starter” who can work well without supervision. Must be able to work with a sense of urgency. Must have experience in the following technologies: Cisco Routers, Switches, Servers and Phone Systems, Netapp Storage Arrays, VMware, Microsoft Operating Systems. Microsoft SQL server, and Microsoft Exchange server. Requires a 4 year degree in related field and 5 - 7 years of experience as a business systems analyst. Additional 4 years of experience required in lieu of degree. Must have strong ability to multitask and prioritize with department and corporate goals in mind. Demonstrated strong ability to think strategically and tactically while acting independently under management guidance. Requires very strong ability to identify tasks which require automation and automate them. Work with minimal supervision and can multitask by juggling priorities set up by management Strong inter-personal and communication skills, team player able to provide technical leadership in IT group
