Job Title : Senior Engineer, Robotics (SLAM)
Location : Somerville, MA | Job Type:- Full Time
Work Authorization:- US Citizens | Green Card Holder
Required Knowledge and Skills:-
Design and implement SLAM systems for warehouse automation robots (in collaboration with others)
Design and implement sensor interface and integration algorithms
Design and implement SLAM test systems that evaluate localization with respect to ground truth
Design and implement graphical interfaces for the SLAM system to support operation and testing
Contribute to general robotics development efforts
Required Details and Qualifications:-
Previous experience implementing a SLAM system for mobile robots
Proficient in SLAM technologies and demonstrated ability to implement a SLAM system for mobile robots
Experience programming and working in Linux environments
Experience with ROS and related open source robot operating systems
Expertise programming in Python, C++, and other languages (Matlab, for example)
Experience with kinematic simulation and visualization environments (like Rviz)
A degree in computer science or related field
Ability to synthesize approaches to problems from new or existing techniques.
Good code habits including version control and testing
