Job Description :
This position will be responsible for the maintenance, support and upgrade of ADE Education Information Systems hosted on ADE Data Center. The upgrade will require code, project and server upgrades along with deployments to UAT/QA and Production clusters. Data Analysis and Reporting as requested to detect cause of errors. The position is required to serve as the lead and mentor for the in-house team.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Requirement gathering analysis & research current implementation & architecture
Identify migration challenges and prepare Requirement Analysis Document
Set up Application structure and basic infrastructure for each application entity
Perform Security module with LDAP/third-party API authentication integration
Develop & Implement Logs module for each application entity
Respond to reports of problems
Perform debugging of programming code
Perform alterations to programming code as needed to correct problems
Respond to requests for changes
Add new programming code to implement new requirements
Alter programming code to remove elements no longer needed
Maintain appendix data records
Alter structure of data tables to add needed new columns
Review processes to detect opportunities for improvement
Author and maintain documentation of processes
Carry out UAT/QA and Production Deployments
Provide training to select ADE Personnel
Post-Implementation Support
Qualifications
A successful candidate must have meet the following criteria:
Masters’ Degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or Computer Applications.
10 Plus years’ experience in programming, database and Information Technology field.
Proven track record of leading technical design and code work within complex enterprise systems.
Proven hands on technical design and development expertise working with emerging technologies in diverse technical environments and cross-platform technologies.
Serves as a mentor to team members by sharing industry best standards and practices.
Proven ability to lead complex technical discussions with business and non-technical users.
