Senior .NET Developer
Client is looking for a Senior .NET full stack Developer in Sugarland, TX This individual has a passion for creative technology solutions and a respect for the delivery process. You will be working on a commercial software application with the product development team. The right person is current on the development of technology topics and tools. If you possess a technical acumen, superior problem-solving skills and want to express a technical vision, this is the role for you.
What you will do:
Design efficient .NET Software that integrate well other in-house applications
Participate in project focused Scrum rituals (standup, grooming, planning, retrospective)
Work with fellow architects and developers to build industry-leading software
Identify and address issues with existing architecture of other systems to improve overall effectiveness
Develop and design user interface components, web services and database interactions
Have an aptitude and willingness to work with variety of newer emerging technologies/tools as opportunities demand
Qualifications
6-10+ Years of experience in .NET software development
C# as the primary programming language
Experience building public Web Services such as REST, SOAP, Web API and WCF
MVC experience
Experience with Angular or other JavaScript Libraries
Front-end components such as Javascript, AJAX, JSON, HTML5, CSS
Third party tools like Devexpress or Telerik
Solid experience with Visual Studio 2005/2008/2012/2015
SQL Server 2005/2008 and Relational Database design
Azure integration
Experience with Web architecture
Ability to work with limited guidance in a team environment
3+ years of Agile development
Proficient with JIRA, JIRA Agile, Confluence, and other agile team productivity tools
Expert understanding of object-oriented programming
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Solid time management
Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
Nice To Have:
Prior background working for a software company
Experience dealing with customers and prospects directly
Ability to work in and lead in a team environment
Must be familiar with the software development life cycle
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Graduate degree a plus
