JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Summary: This consulting request for a Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for requirements gathering and analysis for specific projects in support of the College Board''s Pre-AP Program. The engagement will be a minimum of 6 months and may be extended depending on work activities.

Project Brief:
Pre-AP is a new Client Program that offers instructional resources and classroom-based assessments to schools that are interested in earning an official Pre-AP designation from the Client The Program offers consistent, high standards in focused courses that help build, strengthen, and reinforce students'' content knowledge and skills. Pre-AP courses get students ready for AP and other college-level coursework and are designed for ALL students as the standard, baseline course in their subjects. The program launched in fall of 2018 in eight new course ninth grade, with others to follow.
To support year 3 and beyond scaling to nation launch, the Pre-AP program needs to develop a more robust operational ordering -to-cash-collection process. Learnings and manual processes in the initial 2-year pilot program will be expanded upon to introduce automation in order taking, platform access, materials delivery, and invoicing. There are many procedural steps and system interactions that are in need of data integration documentation within the Pre-AP program platform at Year 3.
Pre-AP Course Audit is a process that allows the Client to authenticate district, school, and teacher Pre-AP implementations against established College Board standards for student work and level of rigor, provisioning. The goals of this project include the following
Establish a form attestation & [in-house} syllabi review process
Build a Pre-AP Course Audit platform that includes form capability and data integration with the Pre-AP platform at Year 3
Gather requirements and establish a plan to implement course and district designations to launch in Year 5.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including oral presentation/public speaking skills

Experience with requirements traceability and validation
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications, and experience with online applications
Ability to effectively handle multiple situations simultaneously
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
B.A. or B.S. in a related technical discipline required.
Minimum of seven years of related experience in traditional business requirements gathering and documentation including but not limited to use case definition, functional and non-functional requirements such as interface agreements, system performance, design standards, and quality constraints.
Working Closely with the Pre-AP, and AP program team to collect, document, and analyze requirement (business, functional, and technical, as appropriate) for the Pre-AP Ordering Platform being developed and the associated and Course Audit process.
Documenting data transfer requirements between integrated platforms (Salesforce, Inflexion, APRO, AP Classroom)
Documenting non-functional requirements, such as quality standards and design restraints.
Collecting and documenting acceptance criteria for all requirements
Develop comprehensive end-to-end test cases at the application/platform and multi-application/platform levels
Assisting in prioritization of requirements
Coordinating stakeholder interviews and facilitating stakeholder discussions
Creating initial high-level process documentation and user experience flow charts to assist in defining and illustrating requirements, options, risks, and issues
Creating and assisting with presentations and other materials as appropriate
Project management a plus
Agile/Scrum experience a plus
System Integration with Salesforce a plus
