Job Title: Salesforce Developer
Location: Raleigh, NC and open to remote
Duration: 06 months - High possibility of extension
Note: Local Candidates should be open to 5-10% travel
Non-locals should be open to 40-60% travel
The right candidate for this role will be a Salesforce developer with a strong background in Java, .net or similar development technology. Ability to break down work, spot optimized solutions and being able to communicate the merit of those solutions is a huge plus. We need a self-starting, hands on person with significant technical experience with the ability use their knowledge and experience to work autonomously at times or as a integral part of the the technical team when needed.
Required Skills
Four-year university degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar
4+ years of development in Java, .NET, Python or other language preferred
2+ years of Salesforce.com experience (6+ total between traditional development & SFDC)
Proficiency in programming using JavaScript, HTML, and XML. Apex and VisualForce experience highly desirable.
Experience with both declarative (Workflows, Approval Processes, Validation Rules) and programmatic (Apex Classes, Apex Triggers, Visualforce Pages) Salesforce development is a plus
Experience in JQuery or other Javascript frameworks (Angular, Backbone, etc Proficiency in scripting language - Python or Ruby, - Networking fundamentals is a plus
Experience with RDBMS - Oracle, MySQL/MariaDB, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL. Working experience with table/relationship design and query optimization is a plus
Experience with Oracle Apps (EBS), JBoss ESB, or iPaaS integrations preferred
Demonstrated experience working as part of an Agile development team
Direct, hands-on experience with automated software management tools
Familiarity with the services industry and operations processes preferred
One or more current Salesforce certifications (Administrator/Advanced Administrator, Platform Developer 1 or 2, App Builder, Sales/Service Cloud) a strong benefit
Other development certifications a plus
