Scrum Master for Single View of the Customer (SVOC) Qualifications: At least 3+ years in an Agile Environment •At least 4+ years in Software Development environment and/or working with delivery teams •At least 3+ years in Scrum Master or equivalent role and/or responsibilities •Preferred experience within small-sized Agile implementations (e.g. 3+ project teams) •Agile Lifecycle tool experience with VersionOne or Jira a plus •Ability to facilitate across the organization to Leaders, Program Managers, and key business owners • Hospitality, Airline, or Leisure industry experience a plus •Strong communication skills, experience working with business partners external to IT is required •Agile certifications a plus including but not limited to CSM, CSPO, CSP, SA, SSM, SASM, or equivalent •Scaling methods experience preferred •Ability to motivate and mentor multiple teams and team members •Ensures the team is empowered and encourages self-organization •Program level stakeholder management and negotiation skills •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Responsibilities:
Job Summary: The Scrum Master’s (SM) primary purpose is to support Being Agile Teams by steering Scrum Teams to success and navigating the complexity of delivering quality and valuable software consistently in large environments. The SM’s focus is to deliver value by managing team level processes, execution, and continuous improvement, as well as aligning the team to the Being Agile Team Feature Roadmap and Planning. Participants and supports the coordinated preparation of PI Planning for the release train. This includes: •Working with the Release Train Engineer to assist the Product Owner who prioritizes the stories to be considered in the next quarterly planning cycle. •Assisting the Product Owners and Scrum team in the refining of stories to be considered in the Increments to meet the Story Definition of Ready •Assisting the Scrum Team in communication and coordination within the Release Train, Product Managers, and business on feature definition and delivery. •Ensures effective communication and coordination for and during Increment planning events across the Being Agile Teams •Manages change to the team’s performance metrics and the impacts of impediments or Being Agile team challenges Team Transparency •Assists the team to remain transparent to itself, the teams on the train, and to the organization through: •Backlog Management and VersionOne data integrity for accurate reporting. Includes the collection of team metrics and other reporting as needed by the release train or organization •Facilitation and continuous improvement of periodic team reviews with the team, Product Owner, and key stakeholders to provide clarity on the expected value delivery and to gain Product Owner feedback on changes to direction the team may need to take •Participation in and assisting in the improvement of the Increment and System Demo •Coordination of production releases with Release Train Engineer, Scrum Masters, and Product Management Team Delivery Coordination •Drives the team in the coordination of major Increment releases and ongoing delivery of value to the release train, shared services, and solution groups that are involved in development and release by hosting Go/No-Go meetings as needed •Drives the team and the Product Owner in the coordination of team level initiatives that cross the Agile teams and dependent teams •Drives the team in resolving or reporting escalated issues involving risk, or dependency management that may be hindering the team’s ability to deliver features. Facilitates the resolution of impediments, dependencies and risks within their span of influence and escalates impediments up to the Product Owner or equivalent Continuous Improvement •Drives the team to continuously improve through the facilitation of team level retrospectives per Increment, or more often as needed, to improve backlog management, Sprint reviews, or release train alignment and coordination •Active membership in the SM Community of Practice helping the organization to maintain alignment, learn new techniques, and improve technical and quality practices.
