Job Description:



The SFDC Administrator/Developer will be responsible for the design, configuration, development, testing, documentation, and deployment of CRM solutions on the salesforce.com platform, specifically related to SFDC Communities for implementation of a customer portal. Apart from strong technical skills on the salesforce.com platform, the SFDC Administrator/Developer must possess good interpersonal skills as he/she will partner with business analysts, end users, and IT personnel to create and implement end to end solutions.



Key aspects of the role:

· Direct experience with configuring and customizing in SFDC Communities solutions.

· Direct experience with lightning and lightning components.

· Web design concepts, CSS styling, HTML.

· Work with business analysts and users to understand their business processes and requirements, and convert them into technical design.

· Responsible for the SFDC configurations and customizations needed to deliver the desired solution.

· Develop or enhance custom objects, Visual Force pages, APEX classes, triggers, Apex batch processes, Apex Web services and APIs, Test Coverage classes, and Javascript.

· Perform administration tasks in the Salesforce.com instance. Manage fields/relationships, workflow rules, approval processes, page layouts, validation rules, email notifications, custom buttons/links, reports, dashboards, roles, profiles, and sharing rules.

· Prepare project documentation including technical specifications and unit test scripts.

· Perform unit testing and fix defects. Support the user acceptance test activities.

· Work with management to identify new and creative opportunities to leverage the data to support additional business processes or functions.



Key Requirements:

· BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field.

· Salesforce.com Developer and Administrator certifications.

· The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of overall IT or programming experience, with at least 4 years of direct experience in Salesforce.com development and administration work.

· Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Must have organizational skills and detail orientation with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

· Exposure to the SFDC data model, data architecture, and data management.

· In-depth understanding of the capabilities and constraints of the salesforce.com platform coupled with a good understanding of common business processes. Must be a confident self-starter individual who can completely own the delivery of high value work products.

· Planning and analytical skills, and strong problem solving skills with a willingness and ability to learn new software features.

· Understanding of key SFDC architectural concepts (e.g. API, governor limits, and test coverage) and how they influence design.

· Nice-to-have skill: Working knowledge of some or all of the following: SOAP integrations, Salesforce mobile platform, XML, SQL.
