Position: SAP SCM (DP AND PPDS)
Location: East Chicago, IN
Length: 12 Month Contract
Required Skills : SAP SCM (DP AND PPDS) experience needed
Work with business user to translate business problems into SAP solutions
Write functional specifications and perform hands-on SAP configurations
The SAP SCM (DP and PPDS) Functional Support Specialist is responsible for production support on the SAP SCM application including: troubleshooting and enhancements for the production system, working with business users to translate business needs into the appropriate SAP solution, providing alternatives with pros/cons, provide design analysis and functional specs, hands-on SAP configuration, working closely with the IT ABAP team, and development/execution of test plans, In addition, support ongoing projects as needed. Local candidates preferred.
Responsibilities include:
Support the base production system with enhancements and troubleshooting
Work with business user to translate business problems into SAP solutions
Assist in the evaluation and selection of the best solution from many alternatives
Write functional specifications and perform hands-on SAP configurations
Work closely with the ABAP team
Develop test plans and coordinate testing. Assist in training end users as needed
Assist with documentation, training, and communication plans as required
Interact with business end-users in all phases of support activities
