Job Description :
We have a need for a strong SAP Materials and Inventory Management expert.
Looking for a contractor that will either pull together or provide tools, rules and processes to effectively create and execute a material planning capability. This person will need extensive inventory management and planning practices along with in-depth knowledge of SAP.
Overall leader to review, update and drive the materials and inventory management design for the business and to support their continued rollout of SAP. The role would be minimum 3 months and probably more like 6. They want to bring in a contractor while they hire someone, and then have an appropriate transition.
Will require some travel to Tempe, AZ, Chicago, IL and Buena Park, CA
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience with materials and inventory management in a sales and distribution environment.
They should have knowledge of SAP MM, Inventory Management, SD and strong in MRP.
They need business knowledge to be able to drive a business re-design, and to be able to recommend daily procedures, organization changes, and develop a ‘day in the life of a buyer / planner for the client.
Strong leadership, communication and team skills, be able drive a client team, and be able to communicate at executive level.
Overall this needs to be a very strong leader with deep experience in SAP, and broad experience in business process around MRP, planning and sales / distribution.
