Role: SAP MII Consultant
Duration: 5+ Months
Location: Remote
Your job responsibilities:
· Design and deliver state of the art integrated manufacturing solutions utilizing the most current web technologies and SAP MII / PCo
· Analyze customers’ existing manufacturing processes and document the requirements
· Create streamlined effective architectures and expertly deploy solutions
· Implementation, customization and development of SAP MII, PCo and ME solutions based on customer requirements
Your job duties:
· Install SAP MII and PCo software on various software and database platforms
· Configure SAP MII for development
· Configure SAP MII OEE add-in
· Configure and setup SAP PIC for specific plant application
· Manage required SAP MII roles inside SAP Netweaver
· Participate in customer workshops detailing and documenting the manufacturing landscape of the customer and proposed solution to be provided (As Is – To Be)
· Develop system architecture and document architecture needs
· Develop custom BLS transactions to support manufacturing process requirement
· Develop required User Interface screens with various web development tools (SAP UI5, Angular, HTML5, CSS, etc
· Develop required SQL tables, stored procedures and views to support manufacturing application requirements
· Apply required SQL indexes to enhance database performance
· Gather manufacturing and user requirements from various business representatives
· Document requirements for MII based system deliverables
· Create software test scripts based upon system requirements
· Perform internal software and functional testing
· Remediate software following testing
· Support manufacturing go-live and hyper care periods of the software development cycle
· Assist in training customer users on manufacturing software
· Assist in training customer super-users on system administration requirements
· Create customer documentation detailing system design and implementation
· Plan for use cases of emerging technologies to manufacturing customer requirements
· Cross-train and mentor internal resources
· Develop customer demos based on specific customer manufacturing processes
· Preform presales activities at customer site as required
Your profile:
· Qualified candidate must have 6+ years relevant SAP MII experience
· At least 3-5 projects successfully implemented with SAP MII
· Strong Technical background in SAP MII solution development which includes all components of the MII application such as Data Services, Content Development, Visualization services and Message Services, MDO, MII Frameworks and SSCE
· Expertise in systems integration and designing technical interfaces using SAP Plant connectivity (PCo) and/or standard connectors to ERP and shop-floor systems.
· Strong database skills (MSSQL or Oracle)
· Proficient in SAPUI5 web technology and related web technologies HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, XML, XSLT and XPath
· Must have high level knowledge of necessary SAP functional modules such as SAP PP, MM, QM etc.
· Must have experience and knowledge working in different Manufacturing industries such as Discrete, Food and Beverage, CPG etc.
· Clear communication skills
· Confident appearance at the customer for presales and implementation tasks
· Interested in new and pioneering technologies and concepts
· Plus point: Familiarity with SAP HANA, SAP ME/MEINT, Cloud development architecture, or ISA95
