SAP FICO/ SAP HANA
Duration: 30 months
Location: Rochester, NY
Daily duties will include:
Provides hands on finance supports during finance testing, training and production support phases of multiple projects and enhancements
Troubleshoots SAP problems from end users and resolves them to the customer''s satisfaction.
Researches and recommends new solutions to business problems based on experience with SAP ERP and HANA
Participates in remediating testing defects identified by super users
Learns new tools and technologies as needed solve SAP problems with access to the right resources
Distinguishes between project delivered content and enhancement options for the Monroe County landscape architecture.
Uses computer systems: Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, web-based incident management systems, file shares, email to communicate SAP user''s problems and supporting solutions.
Works independently, with limited direction;
Communicates with the other members of the SAP Finance Team, the IS department, the internal Monroe County Customers, and the support Vendors;
Solves problems using a wide range of resources
Create training materials and job aids as needed for users at all levels;
Updates and runs test cases during upgrades for functional users as needed;
Participates in testing of systems or software;
Communicate in writing and verbally with end users, IT professionals, super users, and Finance Executives.
Software Analyst: SAP S4 HANA Upgrade project & SAP Finance Production Support
Studies the software application domain, prepares software requirements, and specification documents. Liaises between the software users and the software developers. Conveys the demands of software users to the developers. Skills include: working knowledge of software technology; computer programming experience/expertise; general business knowledge; problem solving/reduction skills; interpersonal relation skills; flexibility and adaptability.
Expert Level: 84 months+ - Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
1. Bachelors'' degree in an Accounting or closely related field
2. 84 months experience in at least 5 of the following SAP Finance Areas: Funds Management, Finance and Controlling, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Grant Management, Treasury & Cash Management, Project Systems, Fixed Assets.
3. 60 months Accounting experience
4. 84 months experience working on project tasks as a business analyst (requirements gathering, researching solutions, documenting business requirements and documenting functional specs)
5. 60 months experience in Systems software test script documentation, defect tracking, and reporting.
6. 60 months experience in Systems software training documentation and delivering end user training.
7. 24 months Government Accounting experience
8. 24 months using MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint required. Optional: Project, Visio, OneNote)
9. 24 months 2nd Level Customer Support (Help desk routes calls for troubleshooting with Super Users and Consultants to help)
10. 12 months experience/exposure to SAP S4 HANA Finance Modules.
