Skills:
Must have strong proficiency in building complex Ruby on Rails business applications.
Must be able to translate business requirements directly from business users to a technology solution within the Ruby on Rails application.
Must have strong knowledge of security best practices in web development on the Internet.
Must have strong proficiency in verbal and written communications.
Experience:
Must have a minimum of 8 years of Ruby on Rails development.
Must have a minimum of 5 years of MySQL application database management experience.
Project Background: We have an enterprise Internet-facing product ordering system that facilitates a complex ordering process.
We are extending that system significantly to cater to several new ordering processes and client requirements.
We require a Ruby on Rails Developer with architect and leadership skills to guide a small group of junior Ruby on Rails developers.
