Essential Job Tasks Include:
The Nextgen Revenue Cycle Analyst will be responsible for developing and executing on the
following deliverable and activities:
Developing and managing revenue cycle deliverable from beginning to end.
Documenting both current and future state workflows, billing cycles and claim processing.
Reviewing requirements for each deliverable.
Assisting in documenting process updates in cooperation with business departments.
Communicating defect remediation.
Participating in go/no recommendations for clinical areas.

Application of formal development disciplines on the project, including
Weekly Revenue Cycle status reporting, including weekly fiscal dashboards and associated communication documents along with requirement reviews.
Claims processing configuration and SQL reporting activities, including business requirements, technical requirements, configuration, claim testing and outstanding business requirements (e.g., policy and process development
Work cooperatively with the quality analyst to ensure delivery of a defect-free, highly-usable end product.
Participation in Integration testing, including input and review of test plans, defect remediation and vendor defect identification in cooperation with the Quality Analyst.
Participation in risk management, including proactively scanning the environment and logging risks and issues, identifying triggers and risk responses, and escalating as appropriate.
Participation in planning and scheduling project timelines with the project manager and milestones using appropriate tools and tracking (e.g., milestones and deliverable

Mandatory Qualifications:
EHR Revenue Cycle experience with Nextgen (preferred), Cerner, All scripts, or Epic.
B.S. or B.A. degree (4-year degree) or equivalent experience in similar role.
Strong analytical and team leadership skills deploying enterprise-wide solutions.
Ability to document concise requirements for the solution with the goal to reduce custom code to the extent possible while meeting the complex requirements of Ramsey County’s Health and Wellness departments.
Expertise in MS Office and Microsoft Visio
Proven ability to work collaboratively with and through others internal and external to the project team.

Desired Skills:
NCP Certification.
Nextgen configuration experience desired.
Ability to develop and run SQL queries and create reports via Crystal Reports.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges.
Organized with a natural inclination for development strategy and tactics.
Problem solving and root cause identification skills.
Previous Development experience in Healthcare organizations, EHR (electronic health records) or other clinical health records system is desired
Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere.
Flexible and adaptable; ability to work in ambiguous situations.
Ability to clearly define defects and map to requirements to development approaches.
Experience in both Agile and waterfall development SDLC environments
