QA tester – Manual – 6months contract to hire Dallas TX
REQUIREMENTS: 50/50 Lead/testing role

5+ years in QA, manual testing of Microsoft .NET web-based applications
Knowledge of test governance and guidance process, as well as thorough documentation
Experienced in an automated test environment preferred, as this person should be able to help identify areas for automation (not actually creating/executing the automation here yet though)
Proven experience testing in an Agile SDLC environment, with extensive experience creating test plans and test cases
Test Lead experience strongly preferred; able to mentor junior QAnot purely a Lead role, and must be willing to perform testing themselves 50% of the time
Experience testing customer-facing software Products, not only internal corporate applications
Expertise in Manual testing (that''s purely what they''re doing now); experience in using scripted or Automated test software for executing automated tests nice to have for possible future efforts, but not required right now (AccelQ is doing the heavy lifting of developing automation frameworks and testing for them right now); should be able to help identify areas for automation though (thinks maybe 60% could be automated over time)
Experienced in testing 3rd party integrations and APIsrole more focused on this than Enrollments product
Knowledge of SQL for querying data for validations
Strong knowledge of system testing metrics, best practices and methodologies.
"Out of the box thinker"; does not want someone that just does things a certain way because "that''s how they''ve always done them"
Domain knowledge of Insurance/Benefits applications, processes and functions a big plus; not required

Team:
Agile Scrum environment - 2-3 week sprints with major release every 6 weeks
