DESCRIPTION:

Candidates must be able to travel to Hartford, CT for face to face Interview*

Establish and foster relationships with assigned clients/stakeholders
Understand clients’ business process to better guide them on quality assurance and control decisions
Gather, review and analyze requirements for efficient testing strategies and test plans
Able to lead and collaborate with others to devise solutions and tracking issues to closure
Conduct sessions or workshops with business users to elicit information regarding their needs and requirements for existing or new systems
Develop documents, test plan, test strategy and test script
Participate in functional working groups and progress meetings
Clearly communicate requirements to development, QA and the stakeholder/user
Develop and execute functional test scripts that confirm requirements and acceptance criteria have been met.
Create automated test scripts and maintain technical documentation
Develop scripts for automated functional testing, regression testing and load testing using a variety of tools
Provide time estimates for project related tasks

Mandatory Requirements:

5+ years of experience in application testing, testing automation tools and production support
3+ years of development of automated testing for enterprise applications (Micro Focus UFT)
5+ years of experience in documenting varied artifacts (technical documents, testing documents, training manuals, use cases, user interface wireframes, workflow diagrams)
5+ years of experience in web-based application development and deployment of large scale, systems integration projects using agile process
3+ years of experience in Automated Testing Frameworks, Test Strategies and Test environments
2+ years of experience with HPQC/MF UFT, Load Runner, SmartBear, Selenium or similar tools
Proven experience and understanding of multi-tiered systems architecture and user interfaces
Solid understanding of relationship database design principles or data architecture
Basic skills in authoring SQL queries, XML and JSON
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and ALM tools such TFS, CA-Rally
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven leadership qualities to direct small units of work between business and technical resources
Able to self-direct and complete tasks on time
Experience in Team Foundation Server (TFS) and CA-Rally
Experience in test driven development environment
Experience working in a continuous integration environment
Highly team oriented with a willingness to help others to achieve personal and project goals
Driven to learn new technologies and acquire new skills
Possess a strong work ethic and a desire to excel in any endeavor
Maintain a high standard of work product quality
