Role and Responsibilities: 

Note From the Hiring Manager:Types of roles/activities they could fill—Assessment or evaluation of various teams and their testing capabilities from a QA perspective—Scrum teams.  Agile.  Coaching and mentoring—identify needs and help implement/mentor to mature testing capability—i.e. test planning, test design, etc.—even some hands on to write/build artifacts.  Some may be just assessment, some coaching.

Manual is an obvious must, automation would be good,  a lot of DevOps—a combination of both would be good.  Some Scrum will be DevOps, others not.

Test Governance is a differentiator! (not required, can teach)—will drive the higher rate billing. Open to ALL—CMMI, TMMI or TPI.  Test maturity models out there. If they don’t’ have this, it can be taught—how NM runs their assessments

Tools—JIRA for sure—Zephyr, XRay, TestRails.

Interview process—phone then Video/Skype/In Person.

Embedded within different teams—onsite work is required.  Milwaukee and Franklin.  5/3  Some FTE positions he’s trying to fill so CTH is an option
Certifications are not required—understand the concepts.
CI/CD—Jenkins, Maven, Docker, Selenium—programming Java/JavaScript a plus.
Closer to CTS—a central quality team.  More formal governance of all the Scrum teams.  Get those processes institutionalize. 
Participates in Project kickoff, project audit meetings according to planned dates with all responsible stakeholders from all the project phases
Assist Enterprise Quality (EQ) Manager in conducting QA Compliance checks for IT development projects, infrastructure changes and for routine maintenance releases 
Reviews and analyzes project deliverables and metrics regarding prescribed quality gate scorecards. 
Responsible for the verification across all project stages, ensuring work is of high quality and completed in a full and accurate manner. 
Assists Quality Governance Manager in delivering Compliance scorecard and audit results to the relevant stakeholders after each audit. 
Identify, collect, manage required data for measured SLAs and other project related metrics 
Assist teams with correcting the identified non-compliance issues to ensure that we maintain high quality and high availability production system and services by providing necessary guidance and coaching. 
Supporting project teams in developing status metrics and JIRA dashboards as needed 
Support the EQ Manager with creating audit scorecard and non-compliance report along with collecting evidence 
Assist EQ Manager in collecting and reporting compliance and quality metrics trending reports monthly. 
Utilize compliance and quality metrics to drive quality standard improvements as part of the regular continuous improvement efforts.

To Do:
These roles will be part of the Enterprise Quality team that will be assessing our testing capabilities and coaching teams on how to deliver systems/applications faster, more accurately, with higher quality and improved availability and reliability.

Must Have :
Minimum of 8 years of experience in Software Testing/Quality Assurance and 5 years as Test Lead 
Excellent knowledge of Software Testing, Quality Assurance, Governance, and Test Engineering 
Deep knowledge of structured software testing, agile concept, test engineering and quality assurance. 
Hands on experience with supporting test teams 
Knowledge of IEEE, ISO and/or ISTQB testing standards. 
Knowledge of Jira and Test Management tools

Nice to have :
Hands on experience with the test maturity assessments. 
Knowledge of test automation tools and performance testing tools 
History of being a skilled governance analyst with previous maturity assessment capabilities to assist in the evaluation of enterprise test maturity is preferable 
Experience with continuous improvement and root cause analysis techniques. 
Six Sigma experience is a plus
