QA/API Tester – USC/GC, 18 months, Bristol, CT
We''re looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst, that specializes in API testing.
Specifically, creating automation scripts from scratch, CRUD testing, and Automated API testing.
Need very strong API testing experience, SQL skills, Javascript experience.
Intermediate to strong API testing experience (manual and automation), including the following: ability to write assertions; familiarity with Swagger or another API documentation tool; use of Path and Query parameters; Use of symbolic parameters to drive test data through API tests; ability to perform CRUD test scenarios (create, retrieve, update, delete);
experience using the 4 common REST methods (Get, Put, Post, Delete); ability to distinguish differences XML and JSON; testing for response codes.
Only open to candidates with real automated, end to end API testing experience and real CRUD testing experience.
Need more than standard Selenium and QTP testing for this role.
Needs a heads down tester and not a manager.
