Role : Project Manager
Duration : Long Term Contract/Full Time
Location : Reston, VA

Job Description:
Develop & maintain project plans, roadmaps, budgets, scope, schedules and deliverables for large strategic projects
Build release plans and do coordination activities to ensure smooth delivery of the committed scope within defined timelines and budget
Liaise between business and technical teams and work collaboratively within the team of techno-functional consultants.
Manage stakeholder expectations, resolve conflicting priorities
Identify risks/bottlenecks and implement mitigation plans
Develop communication plan and publish weekly status updates and executive reports/dashboards for key stakeholders
Work closely with vendor management team and PMO team
TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Highly energetic candidate with strong background in IT project management (10+ years) with detailed knowledge of the software development life cycle methodologies
Experience on Waterfall and Agile frameworks (Scrum and Kanban)
Proven experience managing large and complex IT programs/projects independently
Excellent planning and communicating effectively with project teams
Prior work experience on executing projects in cloud based technologies
Good understanding of Salesforce or AWS, Informatica and Unix landscape
