Title: IT Analyst/Project Manager
Duration: 6-12 Months Contract

This position requires a CJIS background check.

Experience:
College degree and five years experience or 13 years experience without a degree.

Proposed activities for this position:
-Plan and manage multiple concurrent IT Solutions and Business projects and ensure goals and objectives are accomplished within time frames and funding parameters
-Determine and communicate project planning approach for each project assigned
-Develop and maintain project plans including timelines, action items, status reports, issues logs, contingency plans, communications, and other related project documentation.
-Gather and assemble status updates across management and project managers to assess cross project status and risk assessments to provide direction on actions needed to address gaps, risks, dependencies, etc.
-Coordinate and collaborate with IT Solutions and Business Department customers and involve their management in project planning and execution.
-Use IT Solutions project templates and tools, including Innotas PPM and SharePoint.
-Assess processes defining the “as is” state and facilitate process improvement efforts delivering a “to be” recommended state.
-Analyze problems, identify alternative solutions, project consequences of proposed actions and implement recommendations in support of goals.
-Assemble financial information, provide high level analysis, and present in a logical and persuasive manner.
-Create and present project status and financial reports providing analyses as required.
-Manage project budgets and other resources.
-Prepare and deliver presentations for projects to all levels of management.

-Project management practices, methodologies and techniques.
-Strong listening and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to translate customer business requirements and processes into -clear system requirements and design diagrams.
-Ability to prepare clear and concise administrative and financial reports.
-Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
-Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, including elected official, managers, executives and subject matter experts.
-Ability to present and persuade an audience at multiple levels.
-Detail oriented, strong analytical, problem-solving skills.
-Excellent meeting facilitator, strong verbal, oral, and written communication skills.
-Knowledge of project management documents such as meeting minutes, risk registers, action items, weekly reports, budget summaries, executive dashboards.
-Ability to manage vendor relationships, contracts, and resources.
