CDLE Petroleum Storage Tank Modernization Project
The Project Manager is accountable to project leadership to support the direction of the organization, implement long term goals and objectives to achieve the successful outcome of the initiative.
The successful candidate will have experience in implementing projects and driving down to the details to ensure OIT teams, stakeholders, and customers understand the plan, the activities, and success criteria critical to achieving project success. The successful candidate will be able to clearly articulate the project mission/vision/status while building relationships to gain support and drive the success of the project.
Prior State or Public Sector experience highly preferred. Position may not require 40 hours per week but could vary depending on needs of the project.
Critical Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of presenting actionable insights to senior management.
Uses strong analytical skills including the ability to abstract key trends and issues from complex information.
Resolve problems with the ability to look at issues from multiple angles and able to address solutions at both conceptual and detail level.
Project management experience and skills including planning work, managing details, keeping multiple tasks/projects on track, efficient time management, and doing whatever it takes to deliver reliable results.
Strategic thinker, and a change agent.
Self-driven; possess a high degree of ownership and have strong business acumen, excellent communication/influencing skills, planning/project management skills
Has a demonstrated ability to plan, execute and iterate programs across multiple locations.
Comfortable with ambiguity and able to manage multiple priorities.
Proficient in obtaining, organizing and analyzing data to make fact-based decisions and drive root cause analysis.
