Job Description:
Under minimal supervision, identifies system requirements through research and fact-finding to develop or modify Business Intelligence systems.
Designs, develops, implements and supports all aspects of Analytics products.
Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
Designs, codes, tests, debug, and document those programs.
Responsibilities:
Analyze BI requirements and translate user requirements into actionable implementation details
Work with key stakeholders to explain the fundamentals of Power BI and Business Intelligence tools
Design, develop SQL stored procedures, functions to support reports, dashboards
Developing complex Enterprise and Divisional level dashboards utilizing the full array of features including DAX
Troubleshooting Report, dashboard data issue or performance issue.
Creation of Semantic Layer utilizing SSAS Tabular
Skills:
Proficient with Microsoft Visual Studio data tool, Power BI, DAX, and SSAS Tabul
Solid understanding of relational database theory, principles and best practices.
3+ Years’ experience with SQL and relational database modeling
3+ Years experience with the Microsoft BI stack (MS SQL server, SSRS, Power BI, SSAS Tabular)
Preferred Skills
Understanding of Snowflake DB or similar products
Proficient in Python, R, or similar programming languages
Experience with Azure, AWS, or other cloud based ecosystems
Experience with ETL design, implementation using Alteryx, MS SSIS, IICS,, or similar tools
Experience with Business Objects, Crystal report or similar tools
