Position: Performance Test Architect
Location: Hartford, CT
Duration: Contract to Hire/Full Time
Interview: Telephonic/Skype

Job Description:

Responsible for providing technical leadership to medium size/complexity/order-value enterprise scale projects/solutions.
Thorough knowledge of specified multiple technological areas in .NET, Java, Springboot, Microservices, Backend (DB2 /Oracle)
Defining and documenting architecture, capturing and documenting non-functional (architectural) requirements
Create Performance Test Plans, NFR Blue print and present the Strategy for Load, Stress, Endurance and other NFR solutions
Identify Performance Bottlenecks and provide inputs from Engineering perspective on Application stability and breakpoint vulnerabilities
Provide guidance and thought leadership to work with Development teams along with Architecture teams
Provide guidance and establish KPI/SLAs for NFR requirements
Preparing estimates and defining technical solutions with Eversource customer.
Hands on Performance Testing and Tunning experience
Provide technical leadership to project team(s) to perform design to deployment related activities, provide guidance, perform reviews, prevent and resolve technical issues.
Skills or Experience needed:
Tool: JMeter, Load Runner, BlazeMeter & other PT tools
Scripting Knowledge of Tools using Java, Interfaces, Adv. SQL Queries and Performance Tunning
Hands-on experience in using Log analysis, Monitoring
Extensive knowledge in Development frameworks - .NET, Middleware, VSTS, TFS and Microsoft technologies, Spring boot and other Java Platform
