Summary
The Training Lead will provide support for training efforts to educate end users about both software skills and business process changes for an Organizational Change Management initiative to promote the adoption of business process and software system changes affecting government employees throughout the state of Maine. The role will collaborate with the Training Lead from the software vendor, and with OCM Team members.
The position requires extreme attention to detail, as well as integrity, maturity, dependability and a positive professional attitude. The ideal candidate will be flexible and personable, with a strong customer service orientation.
Responsibilities
Support the customization of software skills training collateral provided by the System Implementer
Define and maintain an archive of all software training collateral on the project website
Schedule all users for required role-based training (whether classroom or web-based), and track completion of all required courses
Define requirements for the provision and maintenance of training data including the deadline for uploads and the data refreshment schedule, to ensure there is sufficient data available for all classroom and web training sessions
Collaborate with OCM Team members to provide simulations and/or videos demonstrating system functionality as needed for informational sessions in advance of the actual training
Collaborate to identify, develop and organize training for Approvers on time recording rules, as needed
Collaborate to develop and support Process Changes training, as needed
Collaborate to develop and support OCM activities to provide on-site support for GoLive, as needed
Provide role definitions, lists of training requirements for each role
Create and manage the implementation of the training schedule
Monitor course completion and evaluation
Collaborate in the role mapping process
Collaborate to create and implement a Super User program
Collaborate to create and implement a Train the Trainer program
Required
Experience serving as Training Lead on a previous large-scale systems implementation
Penchant for precision and attention to detail
Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines without sacrificing standards of excellence
Strong customer-service, communication and editing skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Self-starter, independent thinker accustomed to working in a high-performing team environment

Bachelor’s degree, with 7+ years proven business experience
