Job Description :
This person will be responsible for building a Data Lake.
They will be present through discovery phase, implementation, and after go-live slated for June 2019.
Oracle DBA is a requirement and someone with experience in building a Data Lake is a requirement.
Hadoop is not required if the candidate is strong in DBA and Data Lake experience.
Looking for candidate with extensive Oracle database, data warehouse, and data lake experience.
Candidate would be responsible for designing, building, and enhancing a data lake using Oracle technologies.
Data Lake will be involved in ETL process into additional data warehouses. Other technologies to be used - Oracle Golden Gate, Oracle Data Integrator.
Experience in these would be beneficial. Initial implementation likely with Oracle database and structured data but will be expanding to include Hadoop over time.
Candidate should have 5-10 yrs experience as Oracle DBA.
Candidate should have previous experience building a data lake using Oracle database technologies
Candidate should be expert in improving extraction time and DB performance tuning
Candidate should have Hadoop experience, and experience with unstructured data.
Candidate should have data warehousing and ETL experience.
Candidate should have experience in dealing with Big Data
