Job Description :
Experience in design, build, and operationalization of the Red Hat OpenShift environment.
Proven expertise in application containerization management with OpenShift.
Working with infrastructure teams to define practices for Platform deployment, Project lifecycle, Platform hardening, Resiliency, Security, Operations, maintenance,
Experience with DevOps or Agile processes is desired.
Experience working with Red Hat infrastructure automation products such as Ansible, Cloud Forms
In-depth knowledge of best practices around developing microservices architectures and Dockers
Integration of the NONPROD and PROD container platform with existing or new CI/CD servers and build jobs.
Definition of development workflow using OpenShift Container Local, IDEs, and rsync
Maintaining and enhancing automation to support setup and provisioning of new projects in OCP.
Troubleshoot and perform problem analysis during development, testing phases and production deployment.
Experience administering and supporting the OpenShift Container Platform ecosystem for the organization in both public cloud and on premise.
Strong background in Linux administration, virtualization, networking, and security is desirable.
Contributes to and supports the corporate Enterprise Container Strategy by Identifying ideas to improve system performance and impact availability
Assist in change management of container platform for new versions of OpenShift, Hotfixes, SysAdmin tasks, etc.
Good understanding of Linux tools with an emphasis on cURL, Git, strace, and Wireshark
Cluster capacity management and provisioning through automation of underlying hosts.
Conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code and/or perform unit testing
Solid troubleshooting skills and passion for problem solving and investigation
Experience in Infrastructure provisioning, monitoring and Ops Knowledge/Skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrates strong customer service awareness and orientation
Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with customers, third-party vendors, and Red Hat’s associates
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or engineering preferred
RedHat certifications in Linux and OpenShift administration preferred
