Job Description:
Responsible for technical design based upon customer requirements. Completes design and bill of materials tasks to capture full scope of each deal. Works complex (ICB) tasks, being cognizant of network requirements, costs allocated to the customer, and solid engineering decisions to reduce risk to the customer. Interfaces with multiple teams, including sales engineering across all verticals, customer project managers, region engineering, commercial engineering, architecture, and upper management as required. Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline. Usually determines own work priorities. Acts as resource for colleagues with less experience.
Must Have Skills:
· Generally requires 7-10 years related experience
· Fluency in Microsoft Visio is preferred.
· Knowledge of Juniper MX and Cisco ASR Routers is a must.
· Knowledge of Juniper ACX Series and Ciena 3900/5100 Series is a must.
