Job Title: Network Security Engineer
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Washington, DC
Here are the expectations of the role:
- Firewall configuration
- Firewall rules management
- Cabling and installation of network devices
- Network appliance configuration and upgrades (e.g. Gigamon, FireEye, etc)
- Ingress / Egress traffic analysis
- IDS/IPS configuration
- Network documentation / diagram development
- Network performance monitoring
- VPN configuration (Cisco ASA)
- Network device configuration auditing
Expected skills:
- L7 firewall management (Fortinet)
- Experience with the OSI Model and TCP/IP stack
- Network device management, configuration, and troubleshooting
- VPN management and configuration (Cisco ASA)
- IDS/IPS management (BroIDS, Sourcefire, etc)
- Experience in writing best practices & policy
- Familiar with security tools (i.e. Tufin, Forescout, Widewinder and Blue Coat
- designed and managed various firewalls including Juniper, Cisco ASA, Palo Alto
- Knowledgeable about firewall set up and configuration
- Very familiar with Authentications methods
Must have several years’ experience with Fortinet
