Job Description:

Lead the effort to analyze, prepare, and change IP addresses accessing the Client mainframe from multiple state and local agencies. Changes will consist of application, TN3270, VPN, and server/host modifications. Changes must be coordinated with customer, network, and security (firewall) activities. Resource must track and maintain current efforts of agencies and resources assigned to help in addition to monitoring for completeness.

They’ll need to be able to figure out what needs changed and make the request for the change, then track, etc. Also, coordinating the discovery of the IP with the customer and coordinating the timing of the change(s

Need to be able to track the IPs, work with customers, etc. They will be also tracking others work on this endeavor.

Project to move mainframe to DXC's MDC location is dependent upon proper IP addresssing in order to ensure customer connectivity. Move cannot occur until this work is completed.

Competent network architecture or engineering experience from an administration or project management perspective. Knowldege of firewall rules, security standards, and mainframe connectivity. Able to work with various parties and coordinate and explain IP changes that need to be made. Able to answer basic customer questions and troublshoot routing issues. Must track multiple workstreams and compile status' and project performance.

Skills:Able to track IPs, coordinate the discover of the IP, coordinate timing of the change with customer, Network Engineer exp, Project Coordination/Project Management exp, knowledge of firewall rules, security standards, knowledge of mainframe connectivity
