Network engineer

Full-Time
Must have:
- Candidates must be willing to work either 2nd or 3rd shift - Routing & Switching (Cisco, Juniper) - Object-Based Firewalls (Check Point, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA) - Load Balancers (F5 equipment, LTM, GTM, APM, ASM)
Preferred:
- Previous scripting experience with Python, Perl, CGI, and/or SQL - Previous experience working in the financial industry
Qualifications:
EDUCATION
Bachelor''s Degree or equivalent required
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
4+ years of related experience
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Must be willing to consider shift work (2nd, 3rd, and weekend shifts available)
4+ years of hands-on network operations experience in the realms of routing & switching (Cisco, Juniper), object-based firewalls (Check Point, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA), load balancers (F5 equipment, LTM, GTM, APM, ASM), and DNS/IPAM (Infoblox, QIP, BIND)
Understanding of TCP/IP
Understanding of data security controls, protocols, and methods (SSL, IPSec, etc
Experience with UNIX/Linux based operating systems and applications
Working knowledge of hosted services such as Office365, WebEx, etc.
Previous scripting experience with Python, Perl, CGI, and/or SQL considered a plus
Previous experience working in the financial industry considered a plus
