Rate: $60-70/hr
Location: Warren, NJ
F2F is absolutely required.
Absolute 12 months Contract to hire.

Able to build screens from scratch, based on mockups which will be provided
Have to be strong with CSS, HTML5 and JavaScript (Expert)
They are not very particular about Angular and so on right now. It is a +, as they may move to it at a later stage
At the same time they need backend server technologies as well
Not very deep, but strong until the middle-tier. Meaning the EJB layer
Need not be heavy on Spring/Hibernate. Not currently in use

Full-Stack Java Developer
Client is seeking a full stack developer capable of delivering digital solutions to our customers through our service portal utilizing a strong core background and in Java and UI technologies. This role requires solid experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle and an ability to work in an Agile environment.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Develop the front-end, middle, and back-end components for new or existing web applications.
Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
Optimize code for maximum speed and scalability.
Collaborate effectively with peers and all stakeholders.
Provide timely and accurate reporting of progress, status and issues.
Ensure that UX/Java standards are met.
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:
IT Industry Knowledge
Solid 10+ years of experience in developing web based applications.
Expert knowledge building a single/multiple page web application.
User interface programming skills including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, REST, and cross-browser and device development.
Experience using modern JavaScript frameworks such as dojo, jQuery, AngularJS, Angular, React.
Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS, DOM, and other W3C standards.
Solid understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.
Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
Solid understanding of Object-Oriented design and programming concepts.
Sound knowledge of Java 8+ and hands on experience working with Java / J2EE web based applications
Experience creating and consuming Web Services (SOAP/XML and REST/JSON)
Experience with IDE (Eclipse, IBM RAD version 8/9), Rational Team Concert (RTC)
Experience with Transactions, Multi-Threading, MQ
Experience with Databases/JPA, SQL
Experience with deploying applications on IBM WebSphere application server

Recommended Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or related discipline.
Experience with Web Site Search tools and methods
Broad knowledge and passion for digital technology, including web-based products & services, mobile devices & apps, and social media.
Strong analytic and problem solving skills.
Solid verbal and written communication skills.
Proactive self-starter who demonstrates a high level of productivity.
Experience with Application Building Tools (Ant /Maven)
Experience with Dev & Ops, Continuous Integration (Jenkins)
