Position: AWS Microstrategy Administrator
Location: Reston, VA
Duration: 6+ Months
Your future duties and responsibilities
The selected candidate is responsible for installation, configuration and administration of Microstrategy platform on AWS cloud environment.
Configuring Microstrategy to work with AWS accounts, data sources, tools and services
User management – Provision, grant and revoke access to users
Configure Microstrategy environments – Start/Stop/Resize/Terminate environments
Configure Microstrategy components and applications
Configure and monitor instances
Monitor metrics such as utilization to identify possible performance issues/enhancements
Upgrade server software, work with other groups on infrastructure upgrades/changes
Work with project manager as necessary regarding issues such as server down-time, versioning
Create custom workflows with RESTful API
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
3-5 years of Microstrategy Administration experience
3-5 years of SQL and PL/SQL experience
Experience working with various data source like Oracle, SQL Server, MS-Access, Sharepoint.
Experience working with AWS – S3, EC2, EBS, and other AWS technologies
Experience migrating Microstrategy to AWS or administering Microstrategy in an AWS environment
Good communication skills
Education: Bachelor''s Degree in Computer Science or applicable
