Job Description
Basic requirements are PFEP, AutoCAD for layout creation and Kitting strategy…
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or related field
· Define and Implement material flow layout through the factory, storage locations, supermarkets and point of uses
Analyze parts demand profile to define the best delivery method using lean logistics principles such as Kanban, Just in Time, and Just in Sequence
Work with supplier to implement materials replenishment process mentioned above
Define parts presentation to assembly line operators
Define lot size and packaging methods for parts
· Work to reduce on hand inventory dollars and increase turns in support of team goals
· Strong material planning and inventory management experience including: receiving, material movement and logistics, put away practices, cycle count process, and standard warehousing practices
· Experience preparing and implementing factory layouts
· Proficient in Autocad
· Experience using ERP/MRP systems such as CHESS / SAP (or similar)
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills
· Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to all levels of the organization
· Experience with lean manufacturing and kaizen continuous improvements
