Title: Mainframe Tester
Location: Newark, NJ
Type: Fulltime/Contract
Responsibilities
Attend working sessions with Application owner, understand the requirements, business flows, test data.
Create traceability between requirements & existing regression test cases.
Perform GAP analysis and identify the % test coverage
Create / update regression test cases, update traceability
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments
Working experience and coordination with offshore team. (Required for Onshore resource only)
Automate test cases using UFT tool
Should have understanding of JIRA
Required Qualifications
5+ years experience with testing
3+ years experience with UFT test automation tool
5+ years experience with testing mainframe applications
Ability to document clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Proven work experience in formal testing techniques & processes
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
Ability to work individually and on a team, self-motived with strong work ethic
Good time management skills
Good experience on Financial Domain (preferably Wealth Management)
