What you’ll do
Develop technical solutions using test-driven and agile software development methodologies
Support technology and software deployments and end-user questions
Participate in identifying new technologies and methodologies to continuously improve software systems
What’s required
Hands on, in depth experience with Scala
5+ years of professional work experience in microservice-oriented and distributed systems
2+ years of experience with Relational Database Systems and SQL (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Hands on experience working in Accounting or Finance departments
Well-versed in object-oriented techniques including inheritance, polymorphism, generics, etc.
Extensive hands-on experience solving business problems with software
Understanding of the challenges of working with distributed and multi-threaded systems along with experience monitoring those systems and troubleshooting problems
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Commitment to the highest ethical standards while working with sensitive data
Ability to interface with end users
Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, other technical field, or equivalent work experience
