Role- Linux/Talend Administrator
The Admin will be working on an Infrastructure team under a larger Data Management group, acting in a support role. Core responsibilities include installs, updates, tuning, diagnosing, and administration of applications in ETL and Hadoop environments. The Admin will be working closely with a number of internal teams – DBA, QA, Operations, etc. While this role will involve many platforms, the Administrator will be primarily working with Talend.
Required skills:
5+ years’ Linux administration experience
4+ years'' Talend administration experience
Strong background in Unix scripting
Previous use and knowledge of One Automation for job scheduling
Experience supporting applications in a data management environment: Hadoop, Teradata, Informatica, Podium, etc.
Experience with configuration management tools, SVN preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
