Job Description for the Java Developer:
Successful candidates will have hands-on experience of building APIs using Java technologies
Responsible for the definition, design, construction, integration, testing, and support of reliable and reusable software solutions, addressing business opportunities.
Includes systems analysis, creation of specifications, coding, testing, and implementation of application programs and data interfaces.
Translates functional requirements into technical requirements and design Application Development
Designs and codes complex programs and perform activities for performance tuning and monitoring
Qualifications of the Java Developer include:
At least 3 years of experience in Java/J2EE Web or Rest application development, with a strong understanding of multithreading concepts.
Familiar with Agile application development methods
Experience with the following technologies – Java (J2EE, JSSE), Spring Boot, Micro Services, RESTful/SOAP, SQL, Oracle, NoSQL databases (Cassandra, MongoDB), Jenkins, Jira, GIT, Maven, web technologies like HTML, Javascript, JQuery, Angular or React
Any AWS experience preferred.
Experience with Java messaging like JMS, Kafka or RabbitMQ is preferred.
Requirements
The Java Developer MUST have:
At least 3 years of experience in Java/J2EE Web or Rest application development, with a strong understanding of multithreading concepts.
Must have experience with Core Java, Spring Boot, micro services, and relational databases required.
Experience with the following technologies – Java (J2EE, JSSE), Spring Boot, Micro Services, RESTful/SOAP, SQL, Oracle.
Knowledge of the following is preferred: AWS, NoSQL databases (Cassandra, MongoDB), web technologies like HTML, Javascript, JQuery, Angular or React
Experience with Java messaging like JMS, Kafka or RabbitMQ is preferred.
Any exposure to integration platforms like OSB/CAMEL, Bonita/jBPM, APIGEE preferred.
Demonstrates strong communication skills
