Job Title: Quality Analyst
Contract: 18months plus extendable,
Location: Columbus, OH
Hourly Rate: Open (DOE)
Responsibilities:
Develop Testing process, standards, review process & implementing best practices for automation testing with Acceptance Test Driven development approach.
Support Systems team in Continuous Integration (CI) & CD pipeline activities using Jenkins.
Develop and implement automated testing solutions including Ruby/Cucumber framework & Test Strategy for ETL, Web Services and Web based applications.
Identify the Regression test cases which can be automated using Systematic approach and estimated using the cost benefits analysis.
Prepare Test Metrics, dashboards and monthly status reports for higher management review.
Provide the technical solutions for the automation framework challenges including parallel execution, test data, branching strategy, continues integration etc.
Create internal gems for the ETL and Web automation and use multiple gems including active record watir, page-object, yml, rake, Rspec, factory girl, factory bot, faker etc.
Perform Integration and Ad-hoc testing to flush out early defects by checking XML logs to perform data validation.
Technical environment: Ruby/Cucumber, Jenkins, Gherkin, Ruby Mine, ETL, HP Quality Center, Agile, Web Services, SQL, Java, WAS, Squirrel client, HTML/CSS, AngularJS.
