Job Title: Java Developer
Contract: 18months plus extendable,
Location: Omaha, NE
Hourly Rate: Open (DOE)
Responsibilities:
Participate in all aspects of application lifecycle from inception through design, programming, testing, documentation review and assisting with customer support.
Develop web applications on Java-based platform. Coding using advanced Object-Oriented patterns and frameworks. Write test cases. Perform code reviews.
Develop Java Spring framework-based REST services / applications conforming to high quality standards.
Analyzes and recommends methods of improving the efficiency of existing programs. Determines system requirements. Performs data modeling and establishes databases.
Work independently and as a part of a larger team to creatively solve complex business problems and deliver high value solutions.
Partner with cross functional teams to understand requirements and develop solutions.
Provide configuration management in the development environment.
Design and develop applications. Translate design to code and perform unit test on the developed code and applications.
Perform requirements analysis. Assist in collecting and documenting customer requirements. Participating team design activities. Provide suggestions on system design configurations, business process design.
