Role: Java UI Developer
Location: Cleveland, OH
Hire Type: FTE
Important:
Overall 10+ years IT experience.
UI Architect with expertise in development of modern web applications.
Mandatory skills & experience:
Experience in architecture, design / development of modern digital web applications with Java/JEE technologies for at least 3+ years.
Expertise and strong hands on experience on Java 1.8+, Microservices with Spring Boot, JPA, Messaging platforms (JMS / Apache Kafka), REST Services
High level understanding of modern UI development frameworks (Angular 2+), BootStrap, HTML5, CSS3, etc.
Experience as technical lead / Architect showcasing aspects like defining high level design, framework design, laying down guidelines and best practices, coding and unit testing, code reviews, providing solution to non functional requirements (like compatability, performance), interaction with client, etc.
Experience in troubleshooting and resolving performance bottlenecks
Expected to be hands-on as this role is 75% of core development in individual capacity
Excellent communication skills
Experience in working with Agile Development methodology and familiar with the development lifecycle and with relevant tools (preferably JIRA or others like Rally)
