Job Description:
Our client, a telecommunications company, requires 2 (Two) Technical Java/Spring Boot Lead Developer Leads for an 8 month contract role in St Louis, MO till 12/31 with excellent potential of extension. Anticipation is this would be at least a 2-3 year contract, potential conversion to full-time
The Development Lead will run daily scrums, work with Jira Story Board, assign tasks, oversee work and also do hands on development about 60-70% of the time. The project they will be supporting is migrating their entire field applications suite to micro-services. They have a huge feature crush they are still integrating from recent mergers which will also require a lot of stabilization cleanup as part of the work.
Required Skills:
6+ years'' Development experience
3+ years Java Development experience
3+ years String Spring and Spring Boot Micro-services with REST
1+ years as a development lead
Must have Agile experience – be able to run a scrum
Must have worked in an environment with a lot of deadline pressure, so there is a lot of small releases requiring quick turnaround.
Must be able to develop to user stories and do own unit testing and submit with completion of results.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills required
Must be onsite
