Title: Java Developer
Duration: 6 +months
Location: North Brunswick, NJ
Responsibilities
Work under the Java Development lead to implement the Java components needed to meet the regulatory requirements.
Comprehend the high level design and architecture established by the development lead and develop low level design, unit test cases, perform unit testing
Ability to work against tight deadlines by implementing extensions to project’s re-usable feed frameworks, data frameworks, rule sets that reduce the development time for other team members
Ability to analyze legacy code and identify changes needed to it as per the project needs
Skills
Hands on developer with good command over core Java and Spring.
Good exposure to handling high volume data feeds by leveraging Spring framework and Database expertise
Good experience with rapid deployment techniques, Agile and version management in a multi environment scenario
Skilled at development of control frameworks such as incremental processing by bypassing and replaying errors, reconciliations and other checksum and other validation techniques.
Qualifications
Minimum 7 years of development experience with at least 4 years as a developer in a Java Spring project
Technical undergrad preferred or additional experience
Banking experience preferred
Ability to work with virtual teams
Excellent verbal communication skills
