Job Description :
Title: Java Developer
Location: Deerfield, IL 60015
Tentative Duration: 08 months

Description:
Will be responsible for working directly with business stakeholders and offshore team to gather systems requirements, and build / enhance client contracts and compliance application.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Partner with the business stakeholders to gather systems requirements, design and develop web applications.
Jointly responsible for review of design/code/testing strategy/test plans with offshore developers
Coordinates with client for baselining and sign off on the project deliverables
Responsible for setting up review discussions with client for faster resolution and effective turnaround
Manages change control process for application related changes
Ensure scheduled changes take place with optimal QA, monitoring and implementation.
Document technical procedures and best practice
Execute deployment procedures for new and existing applications

Education and/or Experience:
5+ years of experience in developing Java Enterprise (J2EE) applications.
2+ years’ Work experience with relational (Oracle preferred) databases: Develop SQL Queries and PL /SQL stored procedures
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong expertise in Java, Java web applications and J2EE Spring
Rapid prototype, task flow analysis and wireframe creations
Strong working knowledge of REST/JSON
Experience in developing web applications using Struts, Spring MVC
Experience with UNIX/Linux scripting
Understanding of object-oriented programming
