Person needs to have hands-on coding skills and not just high level bookish knowledge.

Minimum 8 years of programming experience using Open source programming platforms
At least 3-5 years of solid hands of experience on implementing APIs using Spring Framework and Microservices using SpringBoot and TOMCAT.
Candidate should have worked on at least 1-3 implementation project with verifiable experience. Someone whom can speak explain projects confidently during interviews
Solid Hands of development experience with Java, J2EE (total 6-10 years)
Sound understanding an work experience applying Domain Driven Design in developing modern APIs, Microservices
Senior Developer with Architectural aptitude
Sound skills on designing API using Open Banking, FIBO, BIAN standards
Hands on development experience with at least one popular RDMBS such as Oracle, SQL Server, DB2 etc
Sound understanding of NoSQL/Big Data environment
